In The Media

Online DMV has been a trusted source of information for all you need to know about the DMV for over 20 years now. Our goal has always been to make it easier, faster, and more convenient for you to learn more about your state’s DMV, whether it’s looking up how to get to your local DMV office, or figuring out how to schedule an appointment with them. Furthermore, we’ve evolved our directory listings for DMV-related services, and we’ve since expanded our knowledge base to encompass know-how topics for motorists and driving laws in the US.

While we’ve heard a lot of nice things from fellow readers about what we’re doing, we’ve also been featured in countless other publications and even governmental organizations. It validates that the two decades’ worth of hard work and dedication by our team is all the more worth it. Of course, it’s not just showing off, but all these features don’t just showcase how much we’ve achieved since, but they prove and solidify the trust you put in us every time you visit Online DMV, and check out our directory listings or information hub to help you out.

Here are just a few mentions where we’ve been featured recently:

2023 – Featured In The American Dream

The American Dream is one of the leading immigration consultancies in the United States for immigrants, and they are to would-be immigrants what Online DMV is for motorists. They’ve recently featured Online DMV in their extensive how-to guide on how foreigners, such as Green Card holders, are able to apply for a US driver’s license. It’s an important resource, particularly for folks landing Land of Opportunity for the first time.

Among the many things discussed in this feature included the requirements for getting a US driver’s license in the first place, how to apply for one, the process for getting it, and some basic FAQs, as well as how to contact the DMV of whichever state you reside in and wish to take the driver’s license at. The latter is where we came in, as a trusted source and database for directory listings for the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).

This is where The American Dream referenced Online DMV’s location finder tool for how you too can easily and quickly find the nearest DMV office to you with just your ZIP code. It proves that our goal of making it way more convenient and effortless to check what resources your state’s DMV may have or trying to locate a nearby DMV office does work. This is as good of a validation as we here at Online DMV could hope for.

2023 – Prime Features In The Yellow Pages

Further proof that we here at Online DMV contain all the most accurate, detailed, and up-to-date information about the DMV out there – and we continue to try our best to keep it this way – look no more than the fact that we’ve been featured countless times in the official Yellow Pages webpage. If you don’t already know what the Yellow Pages are, they too are a directory listing service for businesses and organizations.

As such, our directory listings for the many thousands of DMV offices throughout the United States have been referred to numerous times within the official Yellow Pages website, showcasing their contact information and addresses, among others. They’re no doubt the leading directory site for business owners to list their businesses and get their name out there, making it easier for prospective customers to find them more handily.

The Yellow Pages is pretty familiar with what we’re doing on a day-to-day basis, but we focus on the DMV. So, being featured by the Yellow Pages has further increased the visibility of our directory listings and database for the millions of people and users who rely on the Yellow Pages daily. On top of that, a mention by the Yellow Pages is probably the best compliment that we could want. Even though we’re a completely independent entity from the actual DMV, we remain committed in guiding you each step of the way.

2016 – Featured On The US Department Of State’s Website

Among our earlier achievements, proving that Online DMV has made the rounds, was showcased when we were featured on the US Department of State’s official website. It discussed, in one article, among other things, a nice and handy reminder for people to check the expiration date on their driver’s licenses. It’s mostly a reminder for American citizens and Department of State staff on leave in foreign countries.

If you don’t make sure that you’ve renewed your driver’s license before it expires, returning to American soil with an expired driver’s license might cause a world of complications. It doesn’t just feature Online DMV as a reliable and convenient directory listing source for finding a nearby DMV office where you could renew your license, but it has also highlighted the depth of resources and data that we have here.

At Online DMV, we’re not just a directory listing service for DMV offices, but we also have an abundance of in-depth guides, tips and tricks blog posts, explainer articles about motoring laws that you need to know, and for pretty much anything else related to driving in the United States. Of course, we’ve evolved quite a lot since our first mention by the Department of State back in 2016, but we’re no less as dependable as we were then.
